Approximately 500 of the country’s sheriffs attended the 2012 National Sheriffs Association Conference June 16-20, 2012.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office served as the host for the second time in less than 10 years.

Seminar topics at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center included prison assaults, jail risk management and safety, terrorism, mental health in jails and dealing with the disabled behind bars.
