Your tour starts in the lobby...

DCSO is very proud of this, our ACA Accreditation for 2005-2008.  It is also on display in the public area. The staff works hard to ensure we pass the next re-accreditation audit.

[Image] Security corridor between pods E and F at CWC Inmates at CDC-M are housed in pods, which are connected by secured corridors. Each occupied pod has a security control mini-tower manned by at least one officer.

Pod F (unoccupied at the time this photo was taken) houses a maximum of 38 inmates in a barracks-style sleeping arrangement.

The dayroom of Pod F -- with additional tables and chairs, inmates use this area to eat, watch TV, make phone calls, etc.

The S.A.V.E. (Sheriff's Anti-Violence Effort) program offers classes to inmates with histories of violence, to teach them to accept responsibility for their actions and the consequences, and how to deal with conflict and anger more appropriately.
