"The Offender Re-Entry Center serves as the DCSO's focal point for programming.  We are focused on 'arresting the problem' and providing a better opportunity for the offender to become a taxpayer, instead of a tax burden.  Staff at the ORC are providing offenders with realistic job and educational opportunities such as food service skills and computer-assisted education.  Our goal is to have each offender housed at the ORC on a work program; Therefore, off-setting the costs associated with their incarceration."

~Sheriff Daron Hall

Unit Management Philosophy

By breaking a correctional facility into smaller units, the jail become more manageable and runs more effectively.

The unit is operated by a core group of individuals with specific tasks.  This aids in maintaining positive communication and consistent enforcement of rules.  This philosophy has all staff working in the unit focusing on a common goal:  getting inmates prepared for reintegration into society.
