Davidson County Sheriff’s Office SAAFE program (Sheriff’s Alcohol Awareness Program for Everyone) unveiled the SIDNE (Simulated Impaired Driving Experience) go- cart to the summer camp graduates of the G.R.E.A.T. and D.A.R.E programs, sponsored by the Police Department.  This event took place on June 20, 2008 at East Literature Magnet High School.  Several correctional and warrant officers graciously helped with this event.  This was SIDNE’s first public appearance.  Our Sheriff, Daron Hall also participated in the event.     Thank you to all who assisted SAAFE with this demonstration.
