ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SOBER RIDE!

The 26th annual Sober Ride program proved successful once again as revelers rang in 2010 last night.  Davidson County Sheriff’s Office employee volunteers provided 1140 free, safe, and sober rides to those in Nashville who had too much to drink on New Year’s Eve.  The DCSO is now looking forward to the St. Patrick’s Day Sober Ride event.

Sheriff Hall Talking To Media After 287(g) Vote

Metro Council voted Tuesday to extend an agreement with the federal government that allows the Sheriff's Office to check the immigration status of people who come through the county jail. The Council voted 34-3 in favor of extending the 287(g) program.

GET INVOLVED WITH THE DCSO VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

DCSOThere are many ways you can volunteer your time at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).  We have volunteer opportunities in many areas including education, religious, culinary arts, life skills, parenting and financial planning, etc.  All volunteers must attend an orientation session and pass a mandatory background check.
