“At the Correctional Development Center for Males, we focus on a variety of efforts to improve the chances offenders do not come back to jail.  Two highly acclaimed state-licensed programs operate out of this facility:  the Sheriff’s Anti-Violence Effort (SAVE), a treatment program for domestic violence perpetrators; and, New Avenues, a 45-day intensive alcohol and drug treatment program.  Our staff works to get to the root of an offender’s cycle of crime and we know that many times the cause is addiction.  Other programs at this facility increase the chance an inmate can become a productive citizen upon release and that is the end goal for us all.”

~Sheriff Daron Hall

DIRECTIONS TO THE CDC AT 5113 HARDING PLACE:
  • In Nashville, on Interstate 24, eastbound or westbound, take exit #56 to Harding Place. Note: This general area of I-24 continues to be under construction. Be alert for lane changes and other unusual situations.

  • Go 0.8 mile through lights at Metroplex Drive, then Antioch Pike, then under a railroad overpass, to the light at Ezell Road.
  • Turn right onto Ezell Road. As you turn onto Ezell Road from Harding Place, there is a small green sign reading "CDC - CCA" on your right, followed shortly by a small stone wall on your left with larger signs in it for the CDC and the Metro/Davidson County Detention Facility.
